This 5 Day Safari you will visit Mikumi & Ruaha National Parks that lies deep in the South with its striking, rugged landscapes and abundant wildlife. The great Ruaha River provides life to the park, flows through the eastern side of the park and is home to hippos, crocodiles and the bird count is over 400 species of birds such as Racket Tailed Roller, Pale-billed Hornbill, Shelley’s Sunbird and Hoopoes. Ruaha providing home to one of Tanzania's largest elephant populations, famous for pride of lions, giraffe, grant's gazelles, Leopard, Cheetah, Zebra, Giraffe, Buffalo etc and rare or endangered animals such as Sable Antelope, Greater Kudu & Roan Antelope. Itinerary

Day 1

Dar es Salaam – Mikumi National Park (6 hrs drive)

We leave Dar es Salaam early morning and drive to Mikumi with lunch box. Late afternoon game drive with sunset view & watch the animal’s drinking water at hippo pool. Dinner and Overnight at the camp in Mikumi Lodges.

In Mikumi you should expect to see animals such as Lions, Buffalos, Giraffes, Wildebeests, Zebras, Impalas, Warthogs, elephants, hippos and a many bird’s species.

Day 2

Mikumi National Park + Masai tour and Drive to Iringa (6 hrs drive)

We will start early game drive after breakfast then visiting Maasai village after that a journey to Iringa will start and we will have hot lunch on the way to Iringa. Dinner and overnight at lodges in Ruaha.

Day 3

Full day in Ruaha National Park

After breakfast a game drive to Ruaha National Park will start with your packed lunch box enjoy your full game drive up to sunset. It’s among the national park in Tanzania which have more population of lion and elephant in Africa and other animal to see here includes wild dogs, giraffe, hippo, Crocodile, kudu, eland, warthogs, zebra, wildebeest, Jackals and Hyena. Dinner and overnight at the lodges in Ruaha.

Day 4

Ruaha + Isimila Stone sites and Drive to Mikumi (6 hrs drive)

After breakfast you will start drive to Iringa then after lunch we will drive to Ismila Historical site learning and see the tools and pillars then drive to Mikumi. Dinner & overnight at Lodge/ Hotel

Day 5

Mikumi to Dar es Salaam

After breakfast, we will drive back to Dar es Salaam; we will have hot lunch at hotel on the way. After arrival you will be dropped off at your Hotel/Ferry/Airport.
