This 1 Day Trip to Nyerere National Park formerly (Selous Game Reserve) a Tanzania’s iconic and beautiful National Park, one of the few Protected Areas in the country’s southern circuit. Surrounded by Udzungwa Mountains National Park in the west as well as Mikumi National Park in the northwest, explore this awesome safari destination in all its glory with a game drive. It has significant populations of the African elephant, black rhinos and wild hunting dogs. It also includes one of the world’s largest known populations of hippopotamus and buffalo.

Day 1

Zanzibar / Dar es Salaam – Nyerere National Park – Dar es Salaam / Zanzibar

Morning from Zanzibar or Dar es Salaam fly to Mtemere airstrip on a 50 mins to 1 hrs flight.
Your private safari guide will welcome you at the airstrip. After a brief introduction, you will enjoy the game driving at Nyerere National Park. After this rewarding adventure, continue to Mtemere airstrip for your return flight to Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar Airport.
